Slovenia's zVEM portal shows patients their reports, prescriptions and an access log, but data flows to the central register without consent.

Can I get my health records in Slovenia?

Access to the full record scores 66 of 100 in Slovenia, against a median of 62 across 65 countries. The Patients' Rights Act gives a right to see and copy the record within five working days, and the national zVEM portal shows test results, prescriptions, referrals and appointments. Some providers still send less than they should, so the portal is not the full chart.

Can I control who sees my health record in Slovenia?

Control and consent scores 60 of 100 in Slovenia, against a median of 52 across 65 countries. Patients can block viewing of their Patient Data Summary for one provider or all providers and can see which institution opened their records. They cannot stop data going to the central register, and the log names institutions, not staff.
